Axe Grinding: Get the Goods on Guitar Hero 2

Activision brought the latest Guitar Hero, not to mention Slash, to last month's South by Southwest conference, and the game was a hit with the crowd. It's easy to see why: Although Guitar Hero II (360) remains basically the same game as it was on PS2, it now features 360 add-ons such as downloadable (though a tad pricey) new songs, leaderboards to post and compare your scores with other gamers and glorious HD picture with 5.1 surround sound. What more can a wannabe rock god ask for? Besides groupies, that is. Well, we'd also suggest that a wireless guitar woulda been sweet, not to mention making it possible to set up an online battle of the bands. But minor blemishes aside, this sucker will have you rocking all night long.
