From Heroes to Zero: DC's Comic Countdown

In a move that could prevent some people from ever leaving the house, DC Comics announced today that it will team with MySpace to launch its new yearlong weekly series, Countdown. On May 4, the first 10 pages will preview on the MySpace Comic Books page, with updates taken from the first two issues to follow during the next two weeks. Following the online preview, the series hits the stands May 9 with issue 51 and will work its way down to zero by next year. Created by Lost writer and story editor Paul Dini, the series promises to romp around through the DC universe and its many characters. Sounds good to us. Our only lingering question? Will MySpace mascot Tom make an appearance?
