H&M Sets Up Virtual Shop

Even if you've found plenty of reasons not to get into the Sims, this might be the one to make you start: You can now stock your virtual reality with trendy outfits and accessories inspired by real H&M designs. This month, Electronic Arts is releasing the Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff pack with virtual garment replicas, as well as everything gamers with retail ambitions need to create their very own store, from mannequins and clothing racks to cash registers and fitting rooms and more. Players are also invited to create outfits for six design themes that could be featured in a fashion runway showcase; the winning garment will be produced and sold in actual H&M stores. We love the creativity and inspired pairing of geeks and great style, but most of all, we like the idea of a virtual spree that comes without the real-life sting of credit card bills.
